RECENT WEDDING: Lucy & Russell's Wedding at Preston Court
Lucy & Russell married on a scorching hot summer's day. Guests looked on from the lawn as Lucy gracefully made her way across the bridge onto Julienne's Island to marry Russell. Her three bridesmaids in blue, softened with pastels from their bouquets stood next to the charming pergola whilst the couple pledged their vows to each other.
Lucy wanted maximise the mingling time with guests so that she and Russell spent time with their family and friends. They enjoyed canapés and drinks on the lawn before going over to the barn for the sit down dinner. Lucy was very hands on when it came to the decor with a little help from Idyllic Days, she emphasised the softest shades of blue and apricot. Guests enjoyed the vintage Photo Booth under the shade of the tress and the vintage Carousel in permanent residence at Preston Court.
Lucy and Russell danced until the early hours with friends in the barn whilst the balmy summer weather turned into a storm outside, only breaking for midnight snacks.
